Cuda Cares Change Jars
Do you have loose change lying around the house? Do you want to help the Barracuda raise money for a great cause? Purchase a Cuda Cares Change Jar at the next Barracuda home game!
Jars cost just $10 and you can refill them as many times as you want throughout the season. Once your jar is full, take a picture of the jar and put all of the loose change into the provided ziploc pag to bring back to a specific Barracuda collection game. 100% of the change/cash collected this season will be donated to a local non-profit organization and if you fill a jar - you will be able to get a signed puck by a player of your choice.

Teddy Bear Toss
Heading into its fifth season, the annual San Jose Barracuda Teddy Bear Toss has quickly become a fan favorite at SAP Center. Each year at a select Barracuda game, fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used teddy bears and stuffed animals with them to the game. After the Barracuda score their first goal, fans are invited to throw their bears onto the ice in celebration.
All bears that are tossed are then collected and donated to local youth organizations including School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County, Sacred Heart Community Services and Healthier Kids Foundation. Following the game, Barracuda players will also visit the pediatric wing at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara to give bears to children and their families.
The 2019-20 Teddy Bear Toss will take place on November 22nd against the Colorado Eagles.
During the season, the San Jose Barracuda host collection drives in support of local nonprofits and organizations. This includes drives to collect food, clothing, sports equipment, pet supplies and military care packages.
Check out our promotional schedule here for information regarding this year's collection drives.
Gifts and Goals
Each year, the Barracuda hold their annual Gifts and Goals event. For this event, each Barracuda player purchases a gift for a child associated with a local youth organization. Without the help of the Barracuda players, many of these children would not receive gifts for the holidays. For the past four seasons, have worked with School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County or KAFPA.
The children are invited to a Barracuda game where they join the players following the conclusion of the game where they meet and interact with players and coaches, and are presented with their gifts postgame. Over the course of four seasons, Gifts and Goals has seen 100% player participation and more than $10,000 worth of toys donated.
