BARRACUDA ANNOUCE 2018-19 SCHEDULE FORMAT

San Jose, CA – The American Hockey League (@AHL) announced that the league’s Board of Governors has approved format for the 2018-19 season.

Entering its fourth season as a member of the seven-team Pacific Division in the AHL’s Western Conference, the Barracuda’s 2018-19 schedule will feature 68 games with 34 home dates at SAP Center at San Jose. San Jose’s schedule will include 56 games against the Pacific Division’s other six teams and 12 inter-conference games against four teams from the Central Division.

The Barracuda’s inter-division schedule will include 12 meetings against rival the Stockton Heat (six home, six road), 10 matchups with the Bakersfield Condors and San Diego Gulls (five home, five road), and eight games against the Colorado Eagles, Tucson Roadrunners and Ontario Reign (four home, four road).

In addition, San Jose will face the Central Division’s Iowa Wild and Grand Rapids four times (two home, two road) and two games versus the Texas Stars and San Antonio Rampage (one home, one road).
