BARRACUDA ANNOUNCE MULTIPLE PLAYER TRANSACTIONS

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has made several roster transactions. San Jose has reassigned goaltender Jamie Murray (@Scitownsiv) to the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), San Jose's ECHL affiliate.  In addition, the club recalled forward Matt Willows (@Mwillows9) from Allen and immediately loaned him to the Reading Royals (@RRoyalsHockey) of the ECHL.  Finally, the club announced that defenseman Jason Fram (@jasonfram95) has been released from his AHL contract.
 
Willows, 25, appeared in one game for the Barracuda this season recording zero points and a minus-two rating before being reassigned to the Americans where he registered 11 points (4+7=11) in 17 games with a minus-five rating.
 
The five-foot-eight, 170 pound native of Congers, New York was signed as a free agent by San Jose (AHL) on July 11, 2016.
 
Fram, 21, appeared in two games for the Barracuda registering zero points and an even rating before appearing in six games for the Americans where he recorded three points (2+1=3), two penalty minutes and a plus-one rating in six games.
 
The five-foot-11, 194-pound defenseman from Delta, British Columbia, Canada was originally signed to a PTO contract in August before signing a one-year deal with San Jose (AHL) on Oct. 4, 2016.
 
Murray, 25, was recalled to San Jose (AHL) after Troy Grosenick suffered a right leg injury on November 22 at Bakersfield. Murray did not appear in a game for San Jose. In 10 games played this season with the Americans, Murray went 2-6-0 with a 3.67 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.
 
The 6-foot-three, 170-pound netminder from Scituate, Massachusetts was signed by San Jose (AHL) as a free agent on July 11, 2016.
