REMAINING BLACKOUT JERSEYS AVAILABLE ONLINE

The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced on Sunday that the club is auctioning off the remaining San Jose Barracuda Blackout jerseys during an online auction to benefit the Veteran Tickets Foundation (@VetTix) on www.SJBarracuda.com.

The Barracuda sported the black specialty jerseys during San Jose’s dominating 4-0 victory over the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday March 10th at SAP Center.

A portion of the proceeds of the online jersey auction will benefit the Veteran Tickets Foundation. The online jersey auction to will run until Sunday, March 18th at 5pm (Pacific) and consists of the following jerseys;

Tim Clifton
San Jose Barracuda game issued #45 Blackout specialty jersey from rookie center, Tim Clifton.  The 25-year-old native from Matawan, NJ has seen action in 36 Barracuda games so far this season recording 2 goals and 7 assists. Clifton signed with the San Jose Sharks as an unrestricted free agent last spring after completing his senior season with Quinnipiac (ECAC) where he served as an alternate captain.

Alex Schoenborn
San Jose Barracuda game worn #56 Blackout specialty jersey from forward, Alex Schoenborn. The 22-year-old native from Minot, North Dakota has appeared in 31 career games for the Barracuda tallying 1 goal and 3 assists. Schoenborn was drafted by the Sharks in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft. Schoenborn picked up an assist while wearing the jersey on 3/10.

Zach Frye
San Jose Barracuda game worn #65 Blackout specialty jersey from rookie defenseman, Zach Frye. The 23-year-old native of Spokane, Washington signed an AHL contract with the Barracuda on 3/8. As a senior, Frye paced the Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks in points (34), goals (11), assists (23), and penalty minutes (100), while skating in 35 games. Frye also served as an Alternate Captain over his last three seasons. In 2 games with the Barracuda, Frye has 1 assist.

Jon Martin
San Jose Barracuda game worn #71 Blackout specialty jersey from forward, Jon Martin. The 22-year-old native from Winnipeg, Manitoba has played in 45 games with the Barracuda this season recording 11 points (4-7-11).

Michael Brodzinski
San Jose Barracuda game worn #75 Blackout specialty jersey from rookie defenseman, Michael Brodzinski.  The 22-year-old native from Ham Lake, MN has played in 34 games with the Barracuda this season recording 6 points (2-4-6). Brodzinski was drafted by the Sharks during the 2013 NHL draft just seven picks before his brother Jonny.

Cliff Watson
San Jose Barracuda game issued #73 Blackout specialty jersey from defenseman, Cliff Watson.  The 24-year-old native from Appleton, WI has appeared in 1 game for the Barracuda this season and has also appeared in 6 games with the Utica Comets.
