BARRACUDA TEAM NOTES

The San Jose Barracuda (14-25-2-2) took a two-goal first period lead on Saturday night in Colorado but were eventually ousted in overtime by the Colorado Eagles (26-14-3-1) (Colorado Eagles), 4-3.

PLAYER NOTES

  • Josef Korenar (8-14-3) suffered the the OT loss, in his first game back from an injury suffered on January 22, allowing four goals on 35 shots
  • Hunter Miska (11-4-3) made 29 saves to earn his fifth-straight win and second over the Barracuda
  • Joachim Blichfeld (15) netted his team-leading 15th goal of the year with a first-period tally
  • Antti Suomela (5) collected a pair of points (one goal, one assist) in just his second game back from the Sharks after a two and a half month stint in the NHL
