Barracuda Host Online Military Jersey Auction To Benefit Operation: Troop Outreach

SAN JOSE, CA – The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) and the American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced on Sunday that the club is auctioning off the remaining San Jose Barracuda Military Appreciation specialty jerseys during an online auction to benefit Operation: Troop Outreach (www.operationtroopoutreach.com) on www.SJBarracuda.com.

The Barracuda sported the patriotic themed jerseys during San Jose’s 2-0 win over the Stockton Heat on January 14th at the SAP Center.

A portion of the proceeds of the online jersey auction will benefit Operation: Troop Outreach. The online jersey auction to will run until Sunday, January 22 at 5pm (Pacific) and consists of the following jerseys;

Patrick McNally
San Jose Barracuda game worn #51 Military Appreciation specialty jersey from 2nd year defenseman, Patrick McNally.  The 24-year-old native from Glen Head, NY has played in 31 games with the Barracuda this season recording five points (1-4-5).  Patrick led the Harvard Crimson to an ECAC championship during his senior season tallying six goals and fifteen assists on the year. Tim Heed
San Jose Barracuda game issued #72 Military Appreciation specialty jersey from rookie defenseman, Tim Heed.  The 25-year-old native from Goteborg, Sweden spent the past 3 seasons playing for Skelleftea AIK where he won the SHL's award for top defenseman during the 2014-15 season.  Heed has 31 points (9-22-31) for the Barracuda this season and is currently on recall with the San Jose Sharks. Nikita Jevpalovs
San Jose Barracuda game worn #53 Military Appreciation specialty jersey from 2nd year forward, Nikita Jevpalovs. The 22-year-old native of Riga, Latvia recorded 100 points (49-51-100) for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL during the 14-15 season and currently has eight points (5-3-8) for the Barracuda. Jevpalovs scored the game winning goal while wearing this jersey against Stockton on 1/14/17. Click HERE to place a bid.

Adam Helewka
San Jose Barracuda game worn #52 Military Appreciation specialty jersey from rookie forward, Adam Helewka.  The 21-year-old native from Burnaby, BC has played in 21 games with the Barracuda this season recording 13 points (8-5-13). Prior to playing for the Barracuda, Helewka spent four years playing in the WHL registering 238 points (119+119=238) in 244 games. Click HERE to place a bid.
