Barracuda Host Online Star Wars Jersey Auction To Benefit Vet TixNov 25, 2016
SAN JOSE, CA – The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) and the American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced on Sunday that the club is auctioning off the remaining San Jose Barracuda Stromtrooper specialty jerseys during an online auction to benefit the Vet Tix (@VetTix) on www.SJBarracuda.com.

The Barracuda sported the Stromtrooper jerseys during San Jose’s 4-1 win over the Bakersfield Condors on November 25th at the SAP Center.
A portion of the proceeds of the online jersey auction will benefit Vet Tix. Vet Tix provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. Vet Tix supports our troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country.
The online jersey auction to benefit Vet Tix will run until Saturday, December 3rd at 5pm (Pacific) and consists of the following jerseys;
San Jose Barracuda game worn #51 Stormtrooper specialty jersey from 2nd year defenseman, Patrick McNally. The 24-year-old native from Glen Head, NY has played in 35 games with the Barracuda last season recording three points (1-2-3). Patrick led the Harvard Crimson to an ECAC championship during his senior season tallying six goals and fifteen assists on the year. San Jose Barracuda game worn #72 Stormtrooper specialty jersey from rookie defenseman, Tim Heed. The 25-year-old native from Goteborg, Swedenspent the past 3 seasons playing for Skelleftea AIK where he won the SHL's award for top defenseman during the 2014-15 season. San Jose Barracuda game worn #53 Stormtrooper specialty jersey from 2nd year forward, Nikita Jevpalovs. The 22-year-old native of Riga, Latvia recorded 100 points (49-51-100) for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL during the 14-15 season and scored 14 points (5-9-14) last season for the Barracuda. San Jose Barracuda game worn #65 Stormtrooper specialty jersey from rookie forward, Daniel O'Regan. The 22-year-old native of Needham, MA is coming off a stellar collegiate career at Boston University where he recorded 154 points in 154 games. Currently, O'Regan has 13 points (6-7-13) with the Barracuda and made his NHL debut on 11/21 against the New Jersey Devils.
