BARRACUDA RECALL FORWARD COLBY MCAULEY FROM ORLANDO

SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League's (@NHLSan Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), along with General Manager Joe Will have announced that the team has recalled forward Colby McAuley  (@CMcAuley_93) from the Orlando Solar Bears (@OrlandoHockey) of the ECHL (@ECHL).

McAuley, 22, has appeared in 27 games this season with Orlando, totaling 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) and 58 penalty minutes. The second-year pro split time between the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans) and Barracuda in 2017-18, skating in 28 games with San Jose, collecting eight points (four goals, four assists), 34 penalty minutes and a plus-five rating.

The Sherwood Park, Alberta native was originally signed by the Barracuda as a free agent on May 9, 2017.

Prior to turning pro, the six-foot, 185-pound winger played three seasons with the WHL's (@TheWHLPrince George Cougars (@PGCougars). In 2015-16, McAuley led the WHL in penalty minutes (156).
