BARRACUDA RECALL IVAN KOSORENKOV FROM WORCESTER

SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League's (@NHLSan Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), along with General Manager Joe Will announced today that the team has recalled forward Ivan Kosorenkov (KOS-or-en-KOV) from the ECHL's (@ECHL) Worcester Railers (@RailersHC).

Kosorenkov, 21, has skated in one game with the Barracuda this season, recording zero points. In 36 games with Worcester, the 6-foot, 185-pound winger from Mytishchi, Russia has totaled 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) and 18 penalty minutes.

Over a two-year career in the QMJHL with the Victoriaville Tigres (@TigresVicto), Ivan skated in 131 games and collected 145 points (70 goals, 75 assists), 86 penalty minutes and a plus-44 rating. In addition, he skated in 18 playoff games, totaling 20 points (six goals, 14 assists), 18 penalty minutes and a plus-three rating. Kosorenkov led the Tigres in 2017-18 in helpers (46) and finished second in points (82).

In an additional move, the Barracuda have reassigned forward Colby McAuley  (@CMcAuley_93) from the Orlando Solar Bears (@OrlandoHockey).
