The American Hockey League has announced that the 2019-20 AHL regular season will be paused for the safety of its players, employees, and fans in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has signed Goaltender Jeremy Brodeur (@JBrodeur30) to professional tryout agreement (PTO) from the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), its ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate.
In 35 games with Allen, Brodeur, 21, is 14-11-1 with a 3.14 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. The son of three-time Stanley Cup Champion Martin Brodeur, Jeremy appeared in 124 games over three seasons with theOshawa Generals of the OHL going 70-40-10 with a 2.81 goals-against average and .909 save percentage.
