BARRACUDA TEDDY BEAR TOSS THIS FRIDAY DEC. 22

SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), have announced details for the third annual Teddy Bear Toss Night, which is set for Friday, December 22 at 7 p.m. against the Texas Stars.
 
Fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used teddy bears with them to the game and when the Barracuda score their first goal fans can toss their bears onto the ice. The bears will be collected and donated to the various organizations in the San Clara County including Home FirstSchool Health ClinicsAsian Americans for Community InvolvementLife Moves, and Somos Mayfair. In addition, the players and staff will be delivering bears to Kaiser Permanente on January 16, 2018. A season ago, over 2,500 bears were donated.
  
The Barracuda will also be wearing specialty teddy bear jerseys. The game-issued jerseys will be made available to be bid on during the game in a silent and blind auction on the concourse, and select sweaters will be put on eBay starting on December 23. For Auction rules and details click HERE.
 
Portions of the speciality jersey auction and Chuck-a-puck sales will be donated to the Santa Clara Aquamaids.

Don't forget, throughout the 2017-18 season, the Barracuda are offering $3 concession items including beer, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and more. Also, parking is just $10 all season long.
