Wrapping up the Reign: The Barracuda conclude their eight-game season-series with the Ontario Reign on Friday after finishing up a three-game road trip on Wednesday in San Diego against the Gulls. Since winning the first four matchups against the LA Kings affiliate to begin the season, the Barracuda have dropped the last three meetings including an 8-4 loss in the most recent matchup on March 1. The Barracuda are 9-6-2-0 all-time against the Reign at SAP Center and 2-1-0-0 this season.

True That: Sophomore forward Alex True netted his team-leading 23rd goal of the season on Wednesday and now ranks third in Barracuda history in goals scored (38). The 23 tallies are tied for the third most in a single season for a San Jose skater and the Denmark native now ranks first on the Barracuda in points (49), goals (23), plus/minus (+14), game-winning goals (6), second in points-per-game (.81) and third in assists (26).

El Cap: Barracuda Captain John McCarthy netted his fifth shorthanded goal of his Barracuda career on Saturday and now ranks as the franchise’s all-time leader in games played (250), goals (56), assists (73), power-play goals (16) and shorthanded goals (5).

Frank the Tank: Francis Perron collected the primary helper on San Jose’s second goal on Wednesday and now ranks third on the Barracuda in goals (17), fourth in assists (25), fourth in points (41), and second in power-play goals (7). Perron was included in the offseason deal that brought Erik Karlsson to San Jose from Ottawa.

Joe the Wall: After last Sunday’s 9-0 shutout win, Josef Korenar now ranks T-third in the AHL in shutouts (4) and T-14th in wins (20).

Dynamic Dezy: Nick DeSimone extended his point streak to six games (two goal, five assists) on Wednesday with a goal and now ranks T-seventh in the AHL among defensemen in scoring (42) and sixth in goals (12).
