The American Hockey League has announced that the 2019-20 AHL regular season will be paused for the safety of its players, employees, and fans in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
San Jose, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@Barracuda) and the proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) are set for their annual Pink in the Rink game this Saturday, November 5, presented by Kaiser Permanente (@KPShare).
In accordance with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in November, the San Jose Barracuda will be wearing specialty pink jerseys on Saturday, November 5 against the San Antonio Rampage. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and will have three opportunities to get one of the game-worn pink sweaters: 1. In-game silent auction 2. In-game raffle 3. ebay auction (posted on Sunday, November 6). A portion of the proceeds collected from the jerseys will be donated to the Canary Foundation (@CanaryFound), which is focused on early cancer detection.
Also, in Frenzy's Fun Zone there will be face painters, a photo booth, pink ribbon giveaway, pink hair-dye station and more.
