San Jose Barracuda Announce Broadcast Agreement With AM 1220 KDOW

SAN JOSE – The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda) presented by Barracuda Networks (@barracuda) and the American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) has announced a broadcast agreement with AM 1220 KDOW (@am1220kdow) for the 2015-16 and the 2016-17 American Hockey League seasons.

Coverage begins on Saturday, October 3 when the Barracuda travel to Bakersfield to battle the Condors at 7pm for the final preseason tune-up. 51 of the 68-game regular season schedule will be heard live on the radio on AM 1220 KDOW. All 68 games will be streamed live on www.kdow.biz and through www.sjbarracuda.com. San Jose Barracuda play-by-play voice and manager of public relations, Eric Lindquist returns for his ninth season behind the microphone for the San Jose Sharks AHL affiliate. Lindquist has called the Worcester Sharks last eight seasons, including the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic. He is entering his 12th season in professional hockey and has called more than 800 games.  In addition, San Jose Sharks alumni will periodically join the broadcast to provide color commentary.
