SAN JOSE SHARKS TO HOST SIXTH ANNUAL PROSPECTS SCRIMMAGE

SAN JOSE, CA – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that the sixth annual Sharks Prospects Scrimmage will be held on Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. at SAP Center at San Jose (@SAPCenter). Individual tickets to the scrimmage are FREE for Sharks365 members and San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) season ticket holders. General admission tickets available to the public are $10 each or $20 for a Family 4-Pack. General admission tickets are on sale now and are available at 2018 Sharks Prospects Scrimmage. Sharks365 members and Barracuda season ticket holders can claim their complimentary tickets at 2018 Sharks Prospects Scrimmage/Complimentary Tickets.
Many of the organization’s top prospects are expected to participate, including: 2016 second round pick and Sharks forward Dylan Gambrell, Barracuda 2018 AHL All-Star Rudolfs Balcers, 2017 first round pick Josh Norris, 2017 second round pick Mario Ferraro, 70-goal scorer from the Western Hockey League Jayden Halbgewachs, Max Letunov, Sasha Chmelevski, Ivan Chekhovich, Jake McGrew, Josef Korenar, and many others. A complete roster for the Sharks development camp, including members from the Sharks 2018 draft class, will be released in the near future.
Fans in attendance will receive a Prospects Scrimmage Roster Card as they enter SAP Center and will get a first look at the new San Jose Barracuda logo which will be unveiled during the first intermission. Festivities on the concourse will include face painters, a photo booth, sponsor booths, player cutouts for photos, and Fun Zone elements including bubble hockey, corn hole, and more.
The first 250 fans to purchase $10 worth of Chuck-a-Pucks will also be invited to attend a postgame autograph session featuring Sharks prospects. Net proceeds from the Chuck-A-Puck promotion will benefit the Sharks Foundation (@SharksCare).
Doors to SAP Center’s North and South Entrances will open at 6 p.m. Parking in Lot ABC (the main lot adjacent to SAP Center) is FREE and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other lots in the area will offer parking at the normal rate. Limited concession stands throughout the SAP Center concourse will be open and offering $1 hot dogs and $2 beers as well as additional discounts on other concessions.
