Sharks Announce Rookie Game Series Versus Anaheim September 12-13

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that they will host a two-game "mini-series" that will feature Sharks rookies facing off against rookies from the Anaheim Ducks organization on Sept. 12-13 in San Jose.

The Sept. 12 game will be held at SAP Center at San Jose at 5 p.m. and will be a part of the second annual Sharks Fan Fest (#SJSharksFest). More information on the Sharks 2015 Fan Fest can be found here.

Details for the Sept. 13 game will be announced at a later date.

The games will be full-length, NHL style competitions featuring prospects from the Sharks and Ducks development systems.

Potential players dressed for San Jose include the team's last two first round draft selections - Nikolay Goldobin (2014) and Timo Meier (2015) - in addition to Julius Bergman, Rourke Chartier, Joonas Donskoi, Adam Helewka, Nikita Jevpalovs, Kevin Labanc, Patrick McNally, Jeremy Roy, Joel Rumpel, Joakim Ryan, Alex Schoenborn, Dylan Sadowy, Alexis Vanier and others.
