Sharks Assign Matt Tennyson to San Jose Barracuda On A Conditioning Assignment

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) on a conditioning assignment.

Tennyson, 25, has appeared in 23 games with San Jose this season, scoring one goal and two assists. Last season, he recorded eight points (two goals, six assists) in 27 games with San Jose.

The six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Minneapolis, MN, was signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 29, 2012.
