Sharks Recall Bryan Lerg & Dylan DeMelo

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Bryan Lerg (@blerg11) and defenseman Dylan DeMelo (@ddems2) from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL, @sjbarracuda). 

Lerg, 29, has posted three goals, one assist and 11 shots on goal in four games as the captain of the Barracuda, ranking 2nd on the team in goals and T-4th in points. He has appeared in three games with the Sharks this season.

A five-foot-ten, 175-pound native of Livonia, Michigan, Lerg was signed as a free agent by San Jose on July 10, 2014.

DeMelo, 22, has played in three games with the Barracuda this season and two games with the Sharks, making his NHL debut on Oct. 17 against the NY Islanders.

A six-foot-one, 195-pound native of London, Ontario, DeMelo was originally drafted by San Jose in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
