SHARKS RECALL GOODROW AND HEED

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Barclay Goodrow and defenseman Tim Heed from the San Jose Barracuda, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.  
 
The 23-year-old Goodrow is first on the Barracuda in goals (12), including a hat trick on November 11th at the Texas Stars. He has recorded 19 points (12 goals, 7 assists) in 32 AHL games played this season.
 
Goodrow has played 74 games in the NHL, and recorded 15 points (4 goals, 11 assists).

Heed made his NHL debut with the Sharks on Jan. 11 at Calgary, recording one shot on goal. The 25-year-old defenseman currently ranks T-2nd in the AHL in scoring amongst defensemen, posting 32 points (9 goals, 23 assists) and a plus-8 rating in 30 games with the Barracuda.
 
The five-foot-eleven, 175-pound native of Goteborg, Sweden was originally drafted in the fifth round (132nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Anaheim Ducks. He was signed as a free agent by San Jose on May 24, 2016.
