November is Hockey Fights Cancer month and the we want you to help the #BarracudaBiteCancer when we take on the San Antonio Rampage at 7:00PM. Fill out your "I Fight For" signs on the concourse and wear lavender to show support for all survivors, fighters and loved ones. All fans in attendance will also be able to enjoy $2 beers and $1 hot dogs all night long!
Join us at 5:00PM when the Colorado Eagles visit San Jose for the first time as we honor the history of the San Jose Sharks for the first game of our affiliate throwback series. Watch as the San Jose Barracuda take the ice as the Cleveland Barons, Sharks minor league affiliate from 2001-2006. The team will wear Cleveland Barons jerseys on the ice which will be available for auction throughout the game and the first 4,000 fans in the building will receive a replica jersey. We will also have Cleveland Barons and San Jose Sharks alumni Douglas Murray and Jonathan Cheechoo in the building to sign autographs! Top hats and monocles welcome (and encouraged).
Attention teachers and students! Looking for the perfect field trip for your school or classroom? Join us at 11:00AM for a fun, education filled game that teaches you all about the game of hockey while also learning about some of your favorite school subjects. All students in attendance will receive a Barracuda activity book to work on throughout the game.
The second game of our affiliate throwback series sees the Barracuda honor the Kansas City Blades, the first San Jose Sharks affiliate from 1991-1996. At 5:00PM, watch the Barracuda turn into the Blades when the team wears specialty Kansas City jerseys on the ice which will be available through our auction both during and after the game. We will also have Kansas City Blades/San Jose Sharks alum Tom Pederson along with former Blades Equipment Manager and current Sharks Equipment Manager Mike Aldrich on hand for the ceremonial puck drop prior to the game.
The Teddy Bear Toss is back for a fourth straight season! Join us for one of the most exciting games of the year when the Barracuda take on the Tucson Roadrunners at 7:00PM. Fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used stuffed animals with them to the game and when the Barracuda score their first goal, let them fly! All Teddy Bears will go on to benefit Working Partnerships USA, Gardner Health Services and the pediatric unit at Kaiser Santa Clara. Fans will also be able to enjoy $2 beers and $1 hot dogs all night long.
Join us after the Sharks game and help us ring in the holiday season when we turn The Tank into a Winter Wonderland at 6:00PM. The first 4,000 fans in the building will receive a John McCarthy/Joe Thornton holiday themed bobblehead and if Cuda Country made the nice list, you may even get to take a picture with Frenzy Claus!
The hardest working fish in the AHL turns three this season and you are invited to celebrate his special day! Frenzy is inviting all of his mascot buddies to the game at 3:00PM and he wants you to be there. The guest list will be finalized at a later date but you can get your tickets now to secure your RSVP.
Our third game in this year's affiliate throwback series honors the Worcester Sharks, San Jose's AHL affiliate from 2006-2015. Watch the Baby Sharks come back to life when the Barracuda wear specialty Worcester jerseys on the ice at 3:00PM. The first 4,000 fans in the building will receive a replica jersey and all game worn jerseys will be available in our auction throughout the game.
The Barracuda will be highlighting one of the coolest logos in AHL history for the fourth game of our affiliate throwback series when the Barracuda turn into the Kentucky Thoroughblades, Sharks affiliate from 1996-2001. Come see the team wearing their specialty Kentucky jerseys at 1:15PM when the Barracuda take on the Stockton Heat and bid on a specialty jersey in one of our auctions during or after the game. Kentucky Thoroughblades and San Jose Sharks alumni Evgeni Nabokov and Dan Boyle are expected to be on hand to sign autographs and take part in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the game.
Ever since the Barracuda came to town in 2015, fans have always loved our orange alternate jersey. Orange you glad we are bringing it back for the day? At 1:15PM come see the Barracuda in the fan favorite, orange alternate jersey for the only time this season when we take on the San Diego Gulls. Jerseys will be available through our in game auction and the first 4,000 fans in the building will receive a replica jersey.
Cowabunga! The Ninja Turtles are taking the ice in San Jose when we host Nickelodeon Night against the Bakersfield Condors. Join us for an action packed night of fun (and pizza!) beginning at 6:00pm. See the team play in their custom Ninja Turtle jerseys and bid on one of your own throughout the game in our auction. You didn't think we'd forget about Ninja Hertl did you? The first 4,000 fans in the building will receive a Tomas Hertl/Radim Simek bobblehead.
Since last season's Pucks & Paws game was such a success, we are bringing it back for another year! Have you ever wanted to come watch a Barracuda game with man's best friend? If so, this is your chance! Bring your canine friends for this special treat on Sunday, March 10 at 3PM as your Barracuda take on the Stockton Heat. Wear your green or show off your Irish pride so you can match the team when they wear their St. Patrick's Day themed jerseys. Help us celebrate another awesome season but more importantly help us celebrate the best fans in the American Hockey League at 7:00PM when we take on the Grand Rapids Griffins for Fan Appreciation Night. Fans will be treated to in game giveaways all night long along with $2 beers and $1 hot dogs at the concession stands. Don't forget to stop by the table outside section 115 durng the second intermission to get autographs from some Barracuda players!
During the second intermission on select Saturdays (and a few Fridays) fans will be able to get autographs from Barracuda players outside section 115. Make sure you get in line early, as the autographs end as soon as the third period begins.
