BARRACUDA OUTDONE BY CANUCKS, 4-1

San Jose, CA – The San Jose Barracuda (20-31-2-2) fell into a two-goal hole in the first period on Thursday at Sharks Ice at San Jose and couldn’t dig themselves out, falling, 4-1, the Abottsford Canucks (36-11-4-1).

 

Sheldon Rempal (25) opened up the scoring at 6:54  and now has four points (2+2=4) over his last two games.

 

Sheldon Dries (32) notched his team-leading 31st goal and now ranks third in the AHL in that department.

 

Jayden Halbgewachs (16) cut the lead in half in the second period, and now has points in four of his last five games (2+2=4).

 

Joachim Blichfeld collected an assist and is now pacing the Barracuda in scoring (20+17=37).

 

Spencer Martin (16-3-2) improved to 3-0 against San Jose and has now won four in a row.
