BARRACUDA RECALL ASUCHAK, REASSIGN MOORE

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has recalled Forward Spencer Asuchak (@Asuchak16) from the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), its ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate. In addition, the team has reassigned Forward Bryan Moore (@bryanmoore6) to Allen.
Asuchak appeared in one game for the Barracuda on November 26.
The native of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Asuchak, 26, has appeared in 55 AHL games during his five-year professional career with Providence, Worcester, Chicago, and San Jose, accumulating 10 points (five goals, five assists), 58 penalty minutes and a minus-three rating. Asuchak skated in four Calder Cup playoff games for the Barracuda last year, totaling two penalty minutes and a minus-one rating.
The six-foot-five, 230-pounder won a Central Hockey League Championship in 2014 during his rookie season, and back-to-back Kelly Cup Championships with the Americans in 2015 and 2016. Asuchak has skated in 133 ECHL games in his career with Ontario and Allen, totaling 117 points (46 goals, 71 assists), 155 penalty minutes, and a minus-three rating.
Moore, 23, has skated in seven games with the Barracuda this season, collecting six penalty minutes, and a minus-four rating. Prior to his recall, the third-year pro ranked first on the Americans in goals (7) and third in points (16). The native of Indian Trail, North Carolina, Moore has skated in 40 career AHL games with San Diego, San Jose, and Manitoba, accumulating nine points (three goals, six assists), 53 penalty minutes, and a minus-one rating.
The five-foot-11, 203-pound winger has also appeared in 81 ECHL games with Allen, Utah, and Orlando, totaling 90 points (42 goals, 48 assists), 227 penalty minutes, and a plus-41 rating.
