BARRACUDA RECALL MOORE, SIGN ARCHAMBAULT TO PTO

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has recalled forward Bryan Moore (@bryanmoore6) from the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), its East Coast Hockey League (@ECHL) affiliate, and have signed forward Olivier Archambault (@oarchy09) to a standard Player Tryout Agreement (PTO).
 
Through two games this season with the Americans, Moore who participated in the both the Sharks and Barracuda training camp, has one goal and 21 penalty minutes.
 
In just 50 games played with Allen in 2016-17, the 23-year-old finished fourth on the team in points (51), third in goals (27), eighth in assists (24), second in plus/minus (plus-26), second in penalty minutes (140) and first in short-handed goals (2). Moore also appeared in four AHL games with the Barracuda and Manitoba Moose. In two games with San Jose, he scored a goal and added an assist. The Indian Trail, North Carolina, native also skated in six games with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL) where he racked up 27 penalty minutes.
 
During his rookie campaign in 2015-16, the five-foot-11, 203-pound undrafted winger appeared in 29 games with the San Diego Gulls (AHL), totaling seven points (two goals, five assists), and also appeared in 19 contests with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) where he collected 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists).
 
Before turning pro, Moore played three seasons in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting and Soo Greyhounds, appearing in 181 games while adding 141 points (59 goals, 82 assists), 255 penalty minutes and a plus-32 rating.
 
Archambault, who participated in the Barracuda training camp, is leading both the Americans and the ECHL in points (two goals, five assists) through two games, and is T-second in the league in plus/minus (plus-7).
 
In 2016-17, the 24-year-old appeared in 35 games for the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) where he totaled 24 points (16 goals, eight assists), 29 penalty minutes, and a minus-9 rating.
The five-foot-11, 176-pound forward has skated in 40 AHL games over his five-year pro career, collecting 11 points (five goals, six assists), 33 penalty minutes, and a minus-12 rating with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Iowa Wild.
 
A native of Le Gardeur, Quebec, Archambault was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the fourth round (#108) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
