BARRACUDA RUN OUT OF POWER, FALL TO KNIGHTS

Dec 9, 2023

San Jose, CA - The San Jose Barracuda (6-11-4-0) fell behind 4-0 on Saturday at Tech CU Arena, and never could get back into the game, falling 5-1 to the Henderson Silver Knights (11-10-1-2).

In the win, veteran forward Adam Cracknell (9, 10, 11) scored three times and Isaiah Saville made 31 saves in his season debut.

At 5:11 of the first, on the power play, Cracknell tipped in a Jake Bischoff shot from in between the circles to open the scoring. Then, 33 seconds later, Sheldon Rempal (10) made it 2-0.

In the second, Cracknell would score again on the power play as he parked himself at the back post at 8:36. At 14:36, he’d complete the hat trick.

In the third, Brandon Coe (7) would stop the bleeding at 4:01 on a point tip but it was too little, too late. The Knights would seal the win with an empty netter at 16:42.
