Roy Sommer Honored Before San Jose Sharks Game
Feb 16, 2016SAN JOSE - On February 13, the San Jose Sharks honored San Jose Barracuda head coach Roy Sommer before the game. Sommer had broken the AHL all-time wins record on Wednesday, February 10 with his 637th win. All of Sommer's wins came with the AHL affiliates of the San Jose Sharks (Kentucky Thoroughblades, Cleveland Barons, Worcester Sharks, and San Jose Barracuda). Prior to Roy Sommer breaking the record, Fred "Bun" Cook had held the all-time wins record for the past 72 years.
