2022-23

• Scored only NHL goal of the season on Nov. 13, 2022 vs. Arizona (Connor Ingram).
• Suffered a gruesome laceration on Oct. 4, 2022, vs. Winnipeg after former teammate (with the Sharks) Dylan Demelo's skate cut him behind the ear.
• Ranked T-second on the team with two goals in nine Calder Cup playoff games.
• The forward's 21 AHL goals established a new career high, while his six AHL power-play goals tied a career best (both set in 2015-16 with the San Jose Barracuda).
• Signed a one-year deal with the Rangers on July 14, 2022.

2021-22

• Before being dealt, ranked tied for third on the club in faceoff percentage (min. 100 faceoffs) with a 52.3 percent clip and third in shorthanded time-on-ice (128:14).
• Traded to Calgary from Chicago in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick at the NHL trade deadline on March 21, 2022.
• Collected a career high 36 penalty minutes with Chicago before being traded.

2017-18

• Had five assists in his first 17 Stanley Cup playoff games.
• Claimed off waivers by the Golden Knights from the Sharks on Dec. 13, 2017.
• Made the Sharks out of camp, appearing in 16 games.

2016-17

• During the playoffs, led the Barracuda in points (17), goals (9), assists (8) and was T-first in plus/minus (+6), power-play goals (3), shorthanded goals (1) and shots (54).
• Scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 30, 2016 at Kings (Peter Budaj).
• Ranked first on the Barracuda in shorthanded assists (4), in plus/minus (+17), and fifth in shots (145).

2015-16

• Made his NHL debut with the on Dec. 13, 2015 vs. Minnesota.
• Finished the season by leading the Barracuda in points (55) and was the winner of the AHL's Yanick Dupre Memorial Award for community service.

2014-15

• Scored his first pro/AHL goal on Oct. 11, 2014 with Worcester at Binghamton (Andrew Hammond).

2013-14

• Made his pro/AHL debut and notched an assist on Mar. 26, 2014 with the Worcester Sharks vs. Portland Pirates.
• On March 26, 2014, signed with the Sharks as an undrafted free agent after four years at Bowling Green State University.

• Played three years at Bowling Green and was the captain as a sophomore and junior.
• Son of Michael and Nancy Carpenter…has a brother Chris and a sister Kelsey…father Michael played baseball for University of Central Florida.
• Has two sons and a daughter with his wife Alexis.

BEFORE BGSU

• Played two years for the Sioux City Musketeers…scored 23 goals and 44 assists (67 pts) in 117 career games…led team in assists during the 2010-2011 season and served as the team's captain…scored two goals and an assist in three career playoff games.
