SHARKS REASSIGN DEFENSEMAN JACOB MIDDLETON TO SAN JOSE BARRACUDA

SAN JOSE, CA - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) general manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Jacob Middleton to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda), the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (@TheAHL). 

Middleton, 24, has appeared in 31 games thus far this season with the Barracuda, recording six points (one goal, five assists) and 52 penalty minutes. He also appeared in four games this season for the Sharks.

The six-foot-three, 210-pound native of Stratford, Ontario, was signed by San Jose as a free agent September 7, 2017.
