The six-foot-three, 210-pound native of Victoriaville, Quebec was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the sixth round (172nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

SHARKS REASSIGN DEFENSEMAN TIM HEED

The 27-year-old Heed has recorded three goals, eight assists and 51 shots on goal in 29 NHL games with the Sharks this season. He has also played in two games with the Barracuda, posting two assists, a plus-3 rating and six penalty minutes.

BARRACUDA RECALL GOALTENDER STEPHON WILLIAMS

Williams, 24, is 9-12-2-1 with a 3.14 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage in 34 games played with the Americans. The Fairbanks, Alaska native was signed by the Barracuda to a one-year AHL contract on Sept. 13, 2017.

The San Jose Barracuda (26-22-3-3) held the Cleveland Monsters (20-31-4-3) scoreless Saturday night, topping the Blue Jackets affiliate, 4-0, at SAP Center in front of a record 8,046 fans. The win completed a perfect 4-and-0 home stand.
