BARRACUDA REASSIGN ARCHAMBAULT TO ALLEN

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has reassigned forward Olivier Archambault (@oarchy09) to the Allen Americans (@AllenAmericans), its ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate.
In 12 games with the Barracuda, Archambault totaled five points (two goals, three assists), four penalty minutes and a minus-two rating. Before signing a PTO with San Jose in October, Archambault was leading both the Americans and the ECHL in points (two goals, five assists) through two games, and was T-second in the league in plus/minus (plus-7).
In 2016-17, the 24-year-old appeared in 35 games for the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) where he collected 24 points (16 goals, eight assists), 29 penalty minutes, and a minus-9 rating.
A native of Le Gardeur, Quebec, Archambault was originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the fourth round (#108) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
